Very good review, great commentary, plus all the camera angles (overhead, etc) gave me a real inkling of what the bag was like, including size, and material quality. I just placed an order, can't wait to get it, I've been looking for a backpack just like this that has a little extra styling, but not over-the-top.

If you had to describe how much MORE space this bag has with the cinch fasteners unbuckled, how much bigger does the main pocket get? I'm trying to figure out if the bag would really be big enough for a 5 day trip for a guy...

They've kind of ruined the look of the black hole backpack over the years. I have the original one that came out around 2015, and now they just bland. This one is awesome, just wished they'd offer it in a 30, or 32L

Are those two small pockets on the internal part of the main pack? This looks like a neat bag. I love the quick grab compartment on the top. I appreciated that you mentioned a few different ways to use it too.
