It’s almost concerning how much I love your channel, your website, your content, I just can’t say enough about you all and the work your doing. Just realized I’d been a pretty much devotee for almost 3 years if not longer and just wanted to share my appreciation and gratitude for how you’ve helped organize my life (by way of my belongings) and help me to look cool and modern whilst doing it. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Continued success. There’s most definitely an untapped market for what y’all be doin. Just some feedback I’m an ultra minimalist and mostly look for things in the everyday carry side of things. I’m an AER guy and I’m pretty sure you introduced me to them, I’m almost certain. Regardless your the reason I know so much about them and I know how highly you all regard them and I’m right with you. More content. Keep up the invaluable work, it’s greatly appreciated.

Great review! I really liked the Pro Pack 24L but it was a “no go” because the narrow width between the shoulder straps caused neck strain within a few minutes. I ended up getting the City Pack Pro.

Thanks for the great comparison. I have the Pro Pack 24L and love it, but with one suggestion. I would some type of ring or attachment device within the main compartment to secure small pouches, especially when horizontal using the luggage pass through. Keep up the great work.

I like the new look on the Pro Pack, but the straps and lining you mentioned give me pause... a slightly stretchy material for the Valet pocket (like PD uses) would have been preferred too. Also, I really hope grab handles all around become pretty standard; they really do make a HUGE difference! Thanks for your review!

I have the same concerns. If there was a Frankenstein version of these two bags, I'd buy it. But I can't think of a backpack that is well-rounded like these two. Bellroy look good, but no separate laptop compartment, and they're just a bit too expensive IMO

Thank you! I was hoping to see you review these 2 backpacks side by side. It does seem like you prefer the city pack pro right?

It was nice to see a thorough walkthrough of each bag and the side-by-side comparison at the same time. I was considering both of these bags but, because of this video, decided the in-built organization is lacking and the overall pocket placement and pocket options don't seem all that well thought out. Also, seeing them packed out on someone's back made me realize just how blocky they look and I prefer a sleeker/slimmer look. Ultimately, I'll pass on both and keep looking for alternatives to throw into my rotation with the PD Everyday Zip 20L and Bellroy Venture Ready 26L backpacks. Suggestions are always welcome.

Have you found anything? I'm 6ft and these do look like blocks and with poor admin sections. Currently eyeing at the aer duffel 3. That one is longer but again not optimised at the admin section

I would have loved you and Lauren to do a review together on this one (pack off, pack on, unpack it, yada, yada yada) which seems to fall in a sweet spot where it might fit well on multiple body types, gender, torso lengths (the last one has a great effect on fit and comfort for someone like me. Too long and my day is ruined... ). I'm female, 5'6" and have a 17' torso. It's been really hard finding a pack where the stars align on fit and features. Maddening and expensive. Just a thought...

I really like the grab handles, water bottle pockets, and improved organization pockets on the Pro Pack but prefer the D Rings and strap placement on the City Pack Pro. The City Pack Pro look like it would be more comfortable but don't care for that odd half-mesh pocket or the interior pocket on the backside of the front flap. Both compelling bags overall but don't know if there needs to be two "Pro" lines for work/edc.

I'd love to see comments on sizing and volume. Do they both (labeled as 24 L on the website) fit the same amount of stuff? A t-shirt test would be awesome to see. And what about the dimensions? The Aer website has the Pro Pack 24L 0.5 inch longer and 0.5 wider. Can you tell? As I am shopping for an under airline seat bag, that 0.5 inch puts the Pro Pack 24L just over the American Airline 18x14x8 limit. I wish Aer sold one 18x14x8 trying to get as much volume as possible for the limits.

I'd have to go City Pro, just because I have wider shoulders and a thicker neck and the narrow stance of the mounting point of the pro line I can tell already would be less comfortable. I do like the rest of that design though.

Both are geat bags.. The only cons (for me tho) is luggage pass through strap. I think it should be horizontal, rather than vertical. When i put on the luggage side ways, i found my small items scattered around inside the bag, and from side pocket my water bottle tends to slide out.

Hey, just wondering wich Backpack was the best for me: Aer City Pro Pack or the Travel Pack 3 Small…I would use for EDC and 2/3 days trip..could you help me decide?? P.S the weight is not a problem for me since these backpacks have all grat harness systems.
@nathanperez972 Жыл бұрын
If you travel a lot. Tp3 small. Because of its compression straps. But if you don’t really travel then I would say city pro. They’re basically the same bags tho. The main compartment is the same size I think. For EDC I think city pro is a cleaner look, it’s not as busy so it’s easier to find your things and still looks sleek in various settings. I don’t travel very much so I’m saving up for city pro. Hope any of that helps
