I really wanted to know how to use the loops on the packing cube. It helped to see you push the hook entirely through the the loop of the packing cube before hooking the loop from the backpack - I was sort of fish hooking BOTH the loops. It’s clearer that you did this on your second loop in the vid. Thanks

Are there any similar products? I don't have Tropicfeel's backpack but I love how multi-functional this seems. Are there any other packing cubes with extra pockets that can hold stuff like toiletries?

Check out our packing cube guide-it’ll go straight to compression packing cubes, but there’s a ton of information there! 😃 packhacker.com/guide/best-packing-cubes/#compression -Eric

Hi there, love your reviews. I was wondering if you have tried using Tropicfeel's Wardrobe system in other backpacks like Aer, Tortuga, Peak Design or Osprey Transporter? Or if you know of other brands making similar compressable wardrobe inserts? Thanks!

We haven’t, but we appreciate the suggestion! I’ll pass it along 😃 -Eric

It's like a little tiny suitcase! You could attach a shoulder strap and carry it by itself even. Interesting concept (or totally overengineered?)

The possibilities are endless; it is what you make of it, Lance! But I’m sure you know that already 😉 -Eric

Nice idea. But £50 for a packing cube, however functional it might be, is just crazy.

I'm not sure if I think this is totally over-engineered, or genius 😅

Maybe it’s somewhere in the middle 😃 Thanks for watching! -Eric

I understand from other people that you shouldn’t overstuff the cube if you want to use the spiderweb system, since the spiderweb isn’t as stretchy. Do you recognize this issue as well? How much (in shirts and pants) would you say fits in the cube if you are using the spiderweb system? I was hoping to use the cube and spiderweb specifically for all my clothes, so I could bring toiletries, small cross body bags and shoes and put those on the inside of the bag.

We stuffed it full and didn’t have an issue making it fit! It can be awkward to get the corners looking right, but overall, we haven’t had a problem. -Eric

I had some trouble attaching the fully stuffed cube into the spiderweb. One of the reasons why it wasn't for me.

Hey, thanks for the video! Can you please tell us the dimensions of this packing cube? Thanks in advance.

I might be buying a Nest and this extra cube looks really cool. BUT I have atm an Eagle Creek cube. Can you compare these two? Its seems like the material of the TF's cube is kinda thick. Also there is this extra size/lap in the right side, which (as u said) can hold max. 1 item so its seems like making nonsense... just takes extra space. Does this cube also "really" compress ('cause in my exp. EC's cube compress a lot!) or it's rather just an extra bag that fits in the nest?

Thanks for the comparison suggestion! I’ll pass it along 😃 As for the Smart Packing Cube, it compresses pretty well! The internal organization is great, too. -Eric

The zig zag thing looks totally impractical and unneeded. imo anyway.

We found that it works well for organizing clothes, but we aren’t certain that it needed to be diagonals. -Eric

Yes. I bought this and I already know when it arrives, I won't be using those bands. Not worth the time and effort to put shirts into those things, even though there is slight compression with it. I guess if you are hanging the compression cube, then the straps prevent the t-shirts from falling out though.

So I typically don't roll my clothing and don't like when brands try to dictate how I should pack a packing cube.. are those zig zag straps easy to cut out? Or do they lay flush so I could just put folded clothes on top of them?
@kolby392 жыл бұрын
@@nhawks23 They are flush.

@@kolby39cool thanks.. I already have the Peak Design 45l travel bag, the Peak Design 35l travel duffel, the 40l Nomatic travel bag and the 40l Tortuga Setout but I'm looking for something smaller I can fit under a seat on Ryan Air, Wizz Air, etc
