Nice to catch you live for a bit before I went out earlier 🙂🙂. The cat was very cute , very friendly . Yeah it doesn't cost to be nice its actually very beneficial to you as well as others , it actually costs you a lot more in problems being nasty , and just shows others how ugly and unhappy you are inside, sad some people haven't figured that out yet. Weather was odd that day went from being to warm and sweating to cold when I got on the hilltop 😂😂. Take care 🖤🖤🦇🦇

Nice pub and nice weather too - been a while coming mind. Looked a great walk with real expansive views and nice friendly cat to meet up with too, who looked exactly like my sons cat Sabbath. The audio on your mic was great and the wind cancellation did a good job. You got some superb views from the top but always gutting when you lose some footage. Cheers Alan

Thanks Alan , yes fingers crossed we get some good weather for a while now and can get out more. I was surprised how nice it was up there its a very overlooked location by a lot of people but I loved it. The cat was very sweet , I bet it looks out for walkers . Thanks Ken , there's probably a few routes up , but this one was very easy to follow , with the start point at the Diggle hotel , boat lane is directly along the side of it .Really nice walk . Best wishes pal 🙂

Its fascinating isn't it mate.. to think, back in 'them days', lads had to leg the barges through that tunnel, and what a feat that must have been, the tunnel is so long! And then someone had to walk the horses over to Marsden. Can you imagine! And Standedge trig has beautiful views.. great vid John. 👍

Oh, accent is so an interesting thing. I live at the last real mountains bevore the north german plain begins. Sometimes people say to me, i sound like coming from Hamburg. But thats two and a half hours in the north, and realy another lower german accent. Its just couse its very rural here, and you hear low german accent more often when people speak. For example... you have kaje, kaue, kohjen... and that are all cows... its very different in the areas... but I dont know what they would say at Hamburg. 😅 I think, most modern Hamburg city people would say Kuh today... school standart high german... 🎉 Have a wonderful time in your wonderful landscape John.

Thanks, yes I find accents fascinating , and like to hear different types of accents in the UK I like Yorkshire and also West country which sounds like a Pirate accent 😂. I also like to drink West country cider and its more rustic form scrumpy when I visit the area 😂when I visited Fulda in Germany in the 90's you couldn't get cider only apple-wine , Best wishes pal 🦇🦇🖤🖤

Thank you , It really does me the world of good getting out of Urban area's into natural surroundings, very uplifting especially with that sky. The Marsden moor area and Standedge are fairly close to me , I was surprised how nice Standedge was , you never really hear anyone mention it , but I guess not everyone loves the outdoors like we do 🙂🙂. Yeah I was talking to a guy from the area with a strong Yorkshire accent , but I think it was Yorkshire before they changed the borders, Saddleworth does have a very Yorkshire feel.
