That's a well thought out menu!. It would be nice to see a video on the logistics of it all, how your getting the food everywhere and where you are storing it. It's nice to see no store bought camping meals in there.

I'm gonna forget something for sure. I say this to myself every time the night before i go. Nice job on the whiskey selection. Gotta have the essentials.

Kevin's book, "The Happy Camper" has a section devoted to camping meals and recipes. My wife and I have enjoyed many of the meals described in that book and from his earlier books. You will need a dehydrator to dehydrate foods for many of them though (pasta sauces, chili sauces, etc.). Our channel has some videos about how to do this, including a few sample recipes. His books are how we got started with better and lighter and more compact camping meals. Hope this helps, - Martin

i have watched a ton of vids like this....this is the first one that showed taking booze. i am wondering if a lot of other peeps bring it and just don't put it on there video's. food cashes are the way to go for sure. well thought out my friend. you should eat like a king, and drink like one too.

Nice video Kevin. You allways eat better on a canoe trip. Did you pre-cook the bacon yourself, or did you buy it that way?

I love your stuff! great advice and super funny! Now the only question I have is how did you manage to get the ability to go on so many trips? I am wanting to do them all the time but the cost and other bills always weighs me down.

Can I have food cooking in my pot while I am canoeing if I add boiling water to start in my dutch oven and cover it with tin foil and then set it in the sun on the canoe?

Just to let you know, your voice was a little quite at times, so you might want to invest on a good microphone if you haven't already. They're really worth it.

Interesting to see these cultural food differences. no red blooded American making curries when out in the wild. And just about vegetarian. not an insult, just interesting.

Lame. MYOB. I suspect that over 20 days that doesn't come out to much more than a couple shots a day particularly when there is two of them....but whatever, live your life the way you want and reserve the judgment.
