Ohh how I remember my nephews pants constantly falling off when he crawled!! For his 6th bday I bought him a pair of overalls from Carters, it solved the problem! No more pants falling down and me seeing him escaping in his diaper! 😄

Great job of organizing all of the kids clothes for a weekend. I hope & pray you guys have a great fun time in Florida! FYI- they do have other car seat brands that might be middle priced. I recommend Diono, Britax one 4 life, Maxi Cosi, Graco Natalious goes up to 65lbs in a harness! These are just a few brands I have given out to all my good friends & family members. I have been thru the Diono car seats and boosters with my niece who is now 14 & has special needs & still in a booster. My nephew got into a booster at age 10. But both were in a 5 point harness until age 9! Longer is better. I work with kids & parents at my churches childcare center during the week & nursery too. I enjoy educating parents on what car seats are out there to choose from these days!

Thank for the tips! The only reason we switched Leon out of the 5 point harness was because he was over the height restrictions. Typically a child will outgrow a carseats height limit long before the weight limit. For a forward facing harness it's not safe if the harness straps are below the child's shoulders, (they need to be at or above for forward facing) and that was the case for Leon.

How old is Leon like 6 or 7? What is the weight requirement that he has to weigh to graduate out of a car seat?

Leon is 7, the ONLY reason we switched Leon from a 5 point harness to a booster is because he reached the maximum height requirement for the 5 point harness. We plan to use carseats until our kids reach either the height or weight maximums, why rush something that keeps them safe.

After a child passes the typical potty training age we don't feel like it is appropriate to discuss potty training anymore, certain things in our kids lives are just better kept private.
