I’m flying with spirit soon & also taking only a personal bag to avoid the fees, do they make you take your toiletries/makeup in a clear bag or are you allowed to put them in makeup bags? Also what measurements where you allowed to have for you bag? Im nervous & want everything to go right 😅

Spirit does not do that. You’re thinking of airport security where you usually have to take out your liquids that must be in a clear quart size ziplock bag (unless you have precheck/Clear then you won’t). As long as your bag fits into their sizer bin without force, you’ll be good. You’ll have to look online to see the personal item size dimensions. Personally, I recommend flying with a different major airline like American, United, Delta, etc. Spirt gate agents get commission for every bag they stop so take the price of your ticket plus $198 round trip penalty, it probably would’ve been cheaper flying basic economy American that includes a free carry on.
