Hi im going to church camp for the first time in 2 days. I am scared out of my mind i dont know anyone because i was homeschooled last year. I have really bad anxiety and im really nervous about being a loner the whole time😞

I understand that can be stressful...I encourage you to step out and introduce yourself to people! Don't be scared to be the one that approaches. You never know what amazing friendships could come! I have a feeling that you will come back with amazing memories and new friendships :)

Omg hammocks have been my dream for literally like 10 years I love them so much! I used to love going for summer church camp, so many childhood memories! Don't know why I've stopped LOL. Love the random snacks, yum! You're so smart for bringing a steamer!! Have an amazing time!!

I stayed so busy this year that I actually didn't have the chance to use my hammock (sad face) haha. The steamer on the other always get's used on any trip I go on. All the girls love for me to steam their clothes too! It's just amazing. I just love my mini steamer haha.

My camp is 99% outside in the Texas summer heat and I go for 1 week. It's always super fun but we aren't allowed any tech (aside from lights, ac where we sleep and some adults have phones just in case someone needs a ambulance called) we also aren't allowed to wear makeup or perfume and can't do laundry unless we stay all summer as part of the staff. Aside from that we have so many fun activities and everyone is super nice. It's a Bible/Church camp so everyone is free to be themselves in god's creation without any drawbacks of today's society.

That sounds amazing!!! The camp I have been counseling at for the past few years is in oklahoma, but I'm from Texas! I ended up hardly wearing makeup the two weeks I was there and when I did it felt like it was melting off my face hahaha. I think it's great that they tell you not to wear makeup at the camp you go to! If you haven't gone already, I hope you have an absolute blast! :)

I've gone every year for the past 7 years and this year will be my 8th! It's one of my favorite things to do during the summer, I usually go with my younger sister, my Cousin who's my age and her little sister. We leave on July 8th.
