Packing for Ireland

I received some requests for a packing/travel video so I decided to try and vlog what I'm taking to share with you. My apologies for the shakiness, as I was recording on my iPhone. Hope you enjoy and will talk to you all again when I get back!

Have a wonderful holiday! Thanks for sharing - really enjoyed a sneak peak into your thought process when packing. I travel regularly between the USA and New Zealand and I admire how efficiently you pack! I always have so many gifts to fit it that I end up taking two items of checked luggage 😳

I always wear my Chanel woc on the plane as a "third" item. Since its small no one has ever said a thing and it is so great for ID in card slots for security and credit cards. I put it in my under my seat bag through the security scanner. Then on my New York trip I wore the woc and carried my black longchamp for scarf,gloves, water, umbrella, and shopping purchases:) you can fold it up and put in your suitcase. Have a wonderful trip!

I'm ordering those ebags. I always have a huge hold suitcase so learning to mix and match outfits. I 'd wear a very warm coat and socks as I get so cold on flights. I might do a weekend trip to Dublin as I'm inspired by all the comments from the Dubliners. Looking forward to your VLOG. TFS and safe trip! 😘

i hope you enjoy your trip here in Ireland! Dublin native here. Make sure you check out Brown Thomas on Grafton Street, it has all the luxury boutiques. The exchange rate is very favourable for you right now and you can also get tax back! Check out Boots (european drugstore costmetics), space nk, Brown Thomas and Arnotts (another department store) for makeup and cosmetics. Check out Powerscourt Townhouse for cute local stores (there is an All Saints in there too). One thing I would advise would be to bring at least one pair of leather boots or shoes. Your feet will stay drier in the rain.

How does the LV scarf come packaged? Does it come with that little dust bag? I'm picking one up next week and was just curious about that for storage, thanks! Love those little packing cubes, those are going on my "to buy" list.

The LV scarf does not come with the dust bag but you can ask your SA for one if you purchase at the store.

LOL. I am normally an over packer as well so this was tough and I'm still considering adding a few more tops, but I think jeans are pretty much the way to go for most of my time there so that part is easy. Thanks for watching and I highly recommend the Nice BB! :)

Also a great tip I learned traveling in Italy was take a small power strip with your converter. Plug the power strip into the converter, then charge everything at once with your American cords in the power strip.

Tracey Waller thank you so much. The tunics are from Banana Republic and my favorite tanks are the camisole style from H&M. They have adjustable straps, are nice and soft and wash/wear well. I probably have a dozen of them!

Hi Laura - it looks like you're all set. As a Dubliner I almost never leave home without a foldable umbrella and a scarf (regardless of the season). Your LV scarf is perfect for the current temperatures. If you plan to take afternoon tea, The Merrion Hotel is a lovely place. Obama stayed there. It's centrally located, the National Art Gallery is just done the road. It occupies a series of Georgian townhouses and the interiors are beautiful. For other foodie ideas you might check out the French Foodie in Dublin blog (she also does tours). Have a fantastic time - if I spot you out and about I'll wave hello 🙋🏻

If you are planning to be in Ireland for St Patrick's day, you will need to wear something green. It's compulsory !! If you have time, call to Designer Exchange on Dawson St, next to Starbucks. They specialise in pre loved designer items, brilliant value. Paddy and David will take wonderful care of you !!

LL Nut yes! These are my first and well worth the money. May eventually invest in some more structured ones but for now these are perfect. My husband has his own set and loves them as well. :)

I purchased the jacket online from Amazon. It was pretty inexpensive - from ZShow. And I purchased the strap from LV - it's the adjustable strap in the thinnest size. Works with both my Damier Azur and Monogram pochettes - love it!
