As a student in the usa who has moved to alot of states, you should check if your school has a dress code because some schools and teachers are strict about what you can wear. Most schools don't allow ripped pants/shorts and any shirts that show your stomach or noodle strap shirts. Just some advice 💕 Also be careful with highschool boys in the usa they can be players but not all of them obviously.

Just a bit of a heads up, most public schools in the US have a dress code policy and usually crop tops are not allowed, and you might need to wear a sweater or something over a tank top. Short shorts may also be a issue as well. It really depends on the school and how strictly they enforce their dress code. Some are very strict while others just discuss it in the handbook and loosely if at all enforce it.

sammy jean I think she knows about that :) maybe those clothes are for her free time?

hello everyone Some schools in Europe don’t really have dress code restrictions like in the US. It’s a shock to some who come over here and go to public school where they could wear pretty much whatever they want without having issues with dress code. It also varies with schools in the US with what the dress code restricts.

sammy jean I know, I’m from europe and I know about dress codes in the US. I just thought she knows about the dress codes in the US because she made a video talking briefly about it :)

Welcome to the US! 🤗 I hope you have a safe flight. Um it’s 109F/42C right now in Arizona. It’s way too hot for hoodies. And it’s in the 90sF/32C at night. You probably won’t need any hoodies for a while. Can’t wait to see how you feel about the culture change. 😉

i honestly recommend not getting too much clothes if ur moving bc you’ll end up going shopping there way too much and u won’t wear most of ur things and then u forget about them and then donate them. that’s what happened to me.

Fruit, meat, that kind of stuff is not allowed. Though one way to get through customs quicker is to take something you know is allowed (like a chocolate bar) and tell them that you weren't sure if you were allowed it. Saves so much time.
