There is a lot of rules in your Pony Club! I understand that they are for protect people and horses for accidents. But I really surprise about that they check how you have made your bed, or did I miss understand? Of course in Finland (where I live) things are really different and we don't have same kind of camps or Pony Clubs like you (they sounds really interesting, I hope there are some day more same kind of stuff like you now). Of course if we go to pony camps, we need to have some things like helmet and boots, but moost of the places you can borrow one if you don't have you're own. But I think that going to Pony camps or riding show is a lot easier in England, than in Finland, because in Finland at the beginning you "need" to have your own horse (if it's not you're own and you're not a pro, it is really hard to go in the show) and you need to practise atleast once a week with trainer. But the reason why I writed this comment is that I really like your videos and your English sounds really goos and it is easy to understand, and this is a compliment, because some of british people have this accent what we finnish people don't understand, so by watching your videos I think my english gets better! So keep making them 😃!

Air beds really, that's lucky I don't go to a pony club but I do scouts and we are in tents sleeping on a roll mat that's about 1cm thick in a sleeping bag, don't complain.

I live in Canada, and the camp I went to didn’t really have a dress code other than requiring a helmet, boots, breeches and gloves (obviously) and a body protector for xc. They could all be any colour, except on the last day when you needed to wear a light coloured dress shirt and neutral breeches. We also didn’t have to bring cutlery or towels, just toiletries

MumbleCat Nova Scotia! Lots of lesson barns across the country offer camps for people doing their equine Canada or pony club levels, most are day camps though and you don’t stay overnight

I always bring a torch and foldable chair! do you have a competition ODE at the end? at our pony club camp last year we set up a giant water slide using tarpaulin.... it was awesome haha xx

Susie Webster I have actually never taken a torch as the stables all have lights in them! And we stay in a lodge rather than camping! On the last day at junior camp there is a ODE but at mine we have a showjumping clear round on the Friday afternoon! Last year we had and inflatable obstacle course and we usually have a water fight too! Ahah!

I am going to Horse Camp for the first time this year and I am so nervous. I only get to ride once a week ( I have been for 8 years) but it is definitley not as much as people who own a horse. In my camp we sleep in tents with air beds, but we have to bring our own pillow blanket and sleeping bag, We have evening games too but I have to bring my swimsuit because there’s one game (which we have everyday) is in a bouncy castle filled with water, we have to bring our own cutlery but we are only allowed to wear Navy, any green, black, grey, white, red and browns

Also ALWAYS BRING SPARE CLOTHES!!! A girl fell into a water jump and had to change but where we were we couldn't wash anything so she was down an outfit at the end of the week. So one pair spare is a must. And rolling clothes into each other when you clothes pick helps keep them ironed out and makes more space

OMG I am from Australia and at my horse camp most people wear the same clothes for the whole week and don't take showers at all. No offence but you over pack. I am 11 and I don't care if I get dirty.
