Packing it up

The riding season is over. It's time to pack up the bike and settle in for a new kind of routine. Mostly into one that includes a baby :)
It's also a time to reflect on the passing season. TL;DR version: There's really not too much to speak about. So randomness ensues.

Im just coming out of winter, still have the liner in the jacket. Pepsi station ...I love it.

Really looks like you're riding in Sweden! The roads and scenery is so much alike! Looking forward to see that "pivot" turn next season! ;)

I'm now actually wondering if I could try out the pivot turn in winter in the soft snow :D We'll see..

@@MargusMoto I wouldn't recommend doing it in the snow! Might be too slippery and you might drop it!

@@MargusMoto Why are you going to drop it? I think that you're overreacting the pivot-turn's difficulty. It's not that hard to do! =) Also don't underestimate your riding skills! Just find some dirt/sand road and try it out small like I did in my video. =)

Yeah, I know I'm being overly cautious. Might be the fact that the darn bike is more expensive than I should be able to afford :D But I still have one "ride" in store this season: presenting the new look of the bike. I'll try and try it then ;)

Yeahhh Pepsi station, I'd prefer a Coke Station though lol, Would be fun to fill some Coke bottles from the pump lol ^^ (yes I'm addicted to that beverage :/ ) Feels strage to hear the riding season is over, I understand it, because of the snow, the cold and all, but, here I don't know that situation, lucky me I guess ^^ I wonder if I'd be riding a bike, if there was a "season" here too I had the same (sh*tty) weather all week long, with rain wind and few time some sun just to remind you what it is lol ^^ And the slippery leaves on the road, so much fun (or not ^^) See ya =) Peace!

It's all about getting used to the elements and learning to make it work for you, I guess :) I'm not a fan of snow, but there are a few things you can only do in the snow :D

@@MargusMoto I guess riding a motorcycle isn't the best concept in the snow lol ^^ Here in winter we don't have snow or just for one day or two, that's why I can keep riding all year long, but sometime roads get icy which can be probably worst than snow ^^

Haven’t made any videos for a while now. I have time, but after work, I just can’t bring myselt to edit... and I have a lot to edit... I ended my season too, yesterday. Just have to change oil. It was a fun ride we did together back then. Next year we should ride together again. MrDropALot might not, he is selling his bike Btw, we took over organizing motooorienteering events.

Oh no, Mr Dropalot is giving up completely on the bike-life? :O It'll be interesting to see if and how you'll be changing the motoorienteering events. I personally would love a soft-core off-road class or even a sort of supermoto class where some of the roads are gravel and some asphalt.. I don't think I will ever ride enough off-road to feel comfortable doing the more technical stuff :D

ElectroMoto mrDropALot crashes his KTM and is recovering. He’ll fix the bike and sell it. But he thinks he’ll buy another one, cheaper. We’ll see how orienteering goes and what changes

The concept of "too HOT" to ride completely escapes me.. So the seat is too hot to sit on top or girls around are wearing short skirts and it's distracting? :D (I can't remember a summer here that hot (weather-wise, that is)) I think a Pepsi Station is a remnant of the soviet times when Pepsi was the first and only soft drink we ever got.. I can still remember the taste of my first bubbly cool Pepsi... It tasted like freedom and happiness :D

Well, true. It was hot and there were girls but I didn't ride a bike back then so I didn't feel cool... wait, so I felt hot? erm.. not sure which way it was and which way it makes any sense :D

I don't really blame you. Right now I'm terribly missing my 3.2L V6 all wheel drive Passat :D I mean it isn't a cool drivers car by any means but damn it was fun to trash around the city (and no-one expecting it to be that bloody quick)! :D

Yeah, the 701 sumo looks cool and is a hoot to ride. But yeah, if you are more into cars then it’s a bit hard to justify the cost.. Even used 701’s are quite expensive...
