Packing Kerbside Clean-Up (Pt 1)

Finally uploading a couple videos I took ages back on the job at URM while performing the scheduled clean-up service in Warringah. I was working with a couple legends on truck 046 during this occasion, which was a 2002 model JP5/ACCO with the smaller 19m body. I selected a couple of piles in a unit area for their bulky and crunchy potential while packing, striving to create an entertaining video. In this video we see sofas, mattresses, shelves and other general items all go in the back, get broken down and pushed up into the body. Nice work Mitch. Always love these Cleanup videos, especially if a JP5 is involved. Cleanup is just a fun thing to do with the right truck. These JP5 can absolutely destroy everything thats in their way. Bummer that MJ decided to stop producing them, even though i think the Urbin is superior to the JP5 with normal garbage collection, i think they should’ve kept the JP5 in their product line for cleanup or big industrial work, just like SP did with the maxi pack. Have you got any experience with a Urbin on bulk, i imagine it doesn’t handle bulk to well. Any idea if URM still has these JP5 or did they bite the dust. Hope there’s more Cleanup action to come :)

I sure do enjoy the cleanup work when I get on it occasionally, gotta love crunching it all up... not so fun when your coworkers are useless but, some aren't even capable of picking things up lol There was pretty much nothing wrong with the JP5 at all, they should've kept it over the UrBin in general if you ask me - standard bad loss of an existing great product. Yep I've used a couple UrBins on cleanup, they choke up a lot easier on the heavy and denser items, don't pack as tight a load either... something else common with the latest equipment out there. URM still runs a heap of JP5s for commercial work, but very few continue to do residential duties now... I have the privilege of hearing one of their 2007 models rock up outside my home every Sunday to do a restaurant 240L, my weekend highlight lol Indeed more cleanup action to come mate, had been a big gap since my last bulk waste video until this upload.

I still recon that paramatta Jp5 video is one of the best bulk waste videos you did, other then the packing out vegetation maxi paks and of course the Ryde duo on that heil.
