Really appreciated your conversation about heat levels in books. I'm asexual and also am nowhere close to publishing a book and, thus, having it associated with me. But your conversation made me stop a think for a few. Have I only written YA contemporary novels because it's more acceptable for those to have a lower to non-existent heat level and that's what my asexuality makes me comfortable with? Or is that actually the age group and genre I truly want to be writing? Actually hadn't considered it before...

I know it's not the same as a signed copy, but maybe for the people who want a signed book maybe you could offer them a signed template to add to the book. A bit of a compromise. They will still have your John Hancock in their book even if its not actually on the page of their book. Happy Reading & Writing📚📝😌

What I did for TAVP was buy it on kindle (because I was excited and couldn't wait) and then order a signed copy later when they were available but it is still buying the book twice but also I don't mind supporting Kate in that way 🥰

In regards to the romance question, ask yourself these things. If you had a daughter, how old would you want her to be to read this? Would you be comfortable letting her read *those* scenes at that age? Then write accordingly. But in my opinion, a good romance doesn't *have* to feature sex, graphic or otherwise. It can be pretty clean and still be great. Hope this helps
