Packing Tape Technique with Stampin Up's Gorgeous Leaves!

In this video, I will show you how to create this beautiful fall card using several fall colors, The Stampin UP Gorgeous Leaves stamp set and dies from and the blending brushes . Then I added some Clear Packing Tape on top to make it shiny! Run through the die cutting machine and you are al set!

This card is beautiful. Butterflies are gorgeous with this technique and glitter. I've done that before. It can get a bit messy with the glitter but well worth it. Have a blessed and happy day. More fall cards would be great.

First of all, you are such a fun lady! I have really enjoyed your videos! Second, the card is beautiful! I love fall leaves, so I might be a bit biased, but the card is truly beautiful! I have never heard of this technique and will definitely try it. The paper with all the blended colors would actually be good to use like the DSP for a background panel. Third, I love the stories you shared. People showing kindness is always something worthwhile to share. ❤️ Years ago, someone paid for my purchase in the drive-thru at Chick-fil-A. When I got to the window, the employee gave me a little card and told me the food had been paid for. I was SO surprised and blessed! If you do this, perhaps you could include a little card, too. The one I got was only the size of a credit card, but it still meant a lot.

HAPPY “TGIF”, Lisa! I’m catching a replay this morn~~~and I’m watching AFTER the blue n’ yellow DAHLIA post! (Crazy lady that I am! haha!) I LOVE THE PACKING TAPE IDEA! INSTANT “SHINE” on those leaves! So, so cool! :-)). FALL is one of my favorite seasons and I LOVE ALL OF THE FALL HUES! The DSP: is lovely along w/the “created DSP” for the leaves! Love it 💕 Love it 💞 It's a very pretty card for fall! I haven't used the cork paper yet, but this card is well worth cutting the sheed of. A great background for the leaves. Lisa, just love the packing tape technique ... so creative. When you were doing the Wink of Stella, you were hitting it against another tool. Were you just creating splatters? Would love to know.

The packing tape gives the look of it being heat embossed. It makes the leaves shiny. It’s really a pretty effect.

I was just watching the replay and was really interested until your comment some made about if you don’t like it you make it yourself at home and just don’t say anything; and I am not quoting you, then you chuckled; my opinion and everyone has there’s and that’s what makes the world go around; we’ll I thought was a very tacky comment, so I won’t be watching you anymore.

Hi Carol I’m sorry that you won’t be watching anymore. I said someone left a comment saying that they didn’t like my card and I should have used the other side of the paper. My reply was that if they didn’t like it they could make it however they want but they don’t need to say anything. Meaning, if you can’t say something nice then don’t say anything at all. Of course everyone has their own opinion. But there is no reason for anyone to leave a mean comment. If you don’t like the card, then just don’t watch the video. You don’t have to insult me and hurt my feelings. I do a lot of videos about being kind to one another and there is absolutely no reason anyone should ever leave a mean comment. If you don’t like something, then stop watching and keep your thoughts to yourself. I spend many hours coming up with projects and doing videos for free to teach people how to stamp. If you don’t enjoy them, then that is totally fine. But if it was you doing them, would you want someone leaving a mean comment? Have a nice day.
