Great stuff Ev! It's fascinating to see yours and Dave's very different perspectives on the same two days. I often think about how we are all seeing the world through our own unique perspectives and how different those experiences are within our heads even if they were shared - shaped by our individual neural architecture and lived experiences, emotional states at the time etc. :) It's also a lot funnier than mine!

I really enjoyed that. I've been up that area a couple of times in the hills for some summit camps, and I'm planning an autumn packrafting trip later this year. A week to explore the many lochs and small islands will be perfect. Great video. 👌🔥

What are the benefits of a packcraft over an inflatable kayak?
@GoSummitSolo7 ай бұрын
A Packraft is packable. It weighs anywhere from 1kg to 5kgs depending what one you get. It's small to pack and good for that. A kayak as u see in the video that Feargus has weighs about 30 kgs to carry 😅

@@GoSummitSolo wow I'd no idea they were so light. I have an inflatable kayak currently but could never carry it more than a few metres on a trip!

@@treeplanner aye yeha they were disgned to be. Packable raft. So that's the idea behind them. Brilliant idea, I want to buy 1

I love assynt, i hikes suilven twice, stac pollaidh , cul mor and cul baeg but i did not understamd from the video what path are u guys doing? It looks like the one from film Edie, but what is the name of the path please?
@GoSummitSolo7 ай бұрын
I don't understand what film edie is? So we are on loch sionascaig and we parked up between Loch call an Uidhean and Loch Baine Moir which are both North West from the centre of the big Loch. Next to the single track road xx just before the left bend in the road where it veers out to the coast again. There is a path between those two lochs that we walked about 0.5 miles. And we set of from the beach at the end of it onto the biggest island in the main Loch. Hope that helps. :)
