I literally played this damn level over and over again for about two hours, until I FINALLY beat it. I immediately threw down the controller and screamed in sweet, victorious agony. This level ALWAYS screwed me over when I played it as a kid and it screwed me over this many years later.

Those godforsaken devilish lookin ass tornadoes were the reason my controller was almost in pieces during this fight. Those things had quite the hit boxes whenever you would take damage. Other than that this game was a piece of my childhood except for this horrendous boss.

Fun fact: The reason why this boss fight is so hard is because Namco had to rush the game and release it in its final alpha state, so they couldn't properly play test it.

At least they fixed it in the remake. For the most part. The laser only aims in one place, but you have to dodge _quickly._

This level wasn’t play tested in time, it was one of the few that wasn’t, and oh god does it show...... Edit: after interviewing Scott Rogers on Twitter it turns out this WAS play tested but unfortunately the larger hitbox for Pac-Man and the steep difficulty curve was too much this early on in the game and he said he should’ve made it easier.

Nah I don't think he used cheats. It is pretty easy to get many lives in a short time. I give you a hints: Slot machine. If you get three bells it will give you three lives each time. This is easy because the machine is not random, you just have to stop at the right time

Roger Lost I wouldn’t call it one of the worst, but you do kind of have to have nostalgia to enjoy it. It’s similar to a lot of NES games in that regard. I can’t imagine anyone playing this in 2020 for the first time and having much fun with it. World 2 is leagues better though.
