I've been getting the Pacman fever ever since Bandai announced that there will be a PacMan Tamagotchi to be released this March of 2020. Its the type of show that really gets unfunny after watching an episode once. It has to repeat value. One of the reasons I bought the album was because it had all of the patterns for the game. Bummed to realize that the patterns were what I was doing already so my game could not improve any. I played almost everyday after school at my grandmothers bar. I always had the high score since the only other people that played were adults who had some to drink. I spent a lot of time in my grandmothers bar before school waiting for the city bus. After school after I finished stacking the beer and changing any kegs out. And a lot of weekends. I kind of became a shark at pool, darts, pacman and shuffleboard. On the weekends they had a band and all new people would come in. My grandfather kind of got a kick out of people challenging him to play pool, darts or shuffleboard and he would look around for someone to be his partner and "settle" for me, saying he would cover my costs. It would get to my turn and they would laugh saying man we been hustled by a kid and an old man. :) They always took it well because it was just for a drink. We never took advantage by playing for money. That was good times. I miss the 80s. I joined the Air Force in 1986. Defender was my main game. I used to play that at a small mom and pop store and always had the high score. Other kids would come in when I was playing and challenge me and a crowd would stand behind watching. If I didn't have the money the owner would spot me because he knew that he got some sales as people were standing around watching. To this day I was never beaten. I did play a sit down Defender recently at a retro arcade and man do I suck now. I think my old self could beat my current self with one hand :) I miss arcades except for the amount of money I tossed into them every week.
