The copy of Codfish comment is valid. Gene was on the big stage before Codfish doing musically focused beatbox but it didn't catch on the same. When Codfish won in 2018, we suddenly went from these super technical and heavy beats to an abundance of beatboxers focused on musicality, seemingly overnight. Obviously, everyone has their own style but the precedent for the shift in beatbox really started with Codfish.

Its a cool diss...however its not 100% working. If everyone would do "the same shit" why can you identify who he is referring to by doing literally 1 second of a beat. The fact you know instantly who he copies means, these guys have such a distinct style, that you know it when you hear it.

I think he's complaining that there's no point comparing and saying people ripped people off. In Stitch's video about his elimination, he mentioned that feedback from one judge was that he was marked down on originality because he sounded too much like River. Which is absolute BS.

Thing that disappoints me is that Pacmax has so much potential but he decided to be a joke on stage when he could’ve 100% gotten in the top 8
