When it comes to guitar playing and composition alone, Vicente Amigo is the best ever was. Paco is the greatest in general, but he's not the greatest at everything. Vicente is a better performer and a better composer. My favorite flamenco guitarist, no doubt.

@@janwillem22 Vicente has better songs in every palo, be it bulerias, rumba, soleá etc. His guitar playing is more accurate, clean and beautiful. Vicente's sense of melody, harmony, sophistication, and his ability to transmit feelings and sensations is unmatched.

@@kenny653 Paco was the first to introduce and incorporate new ways to what we know as flamenco today and how it is approached and played. from which many were inspired such as Vicente and so on. Without him it would remain traditional, nonetheless the world is full of a variety of great guitarists such as Vicente and many others whom continue his legacy through the music. but the pedestal and throne of Flamenco remains seated with the goat (Paco). Long story short: Everyone is a student of Paco's.
