it saddens me to see how little interest a video like this is creating in the youtube community. most guitar players don't appreciate the difficulty of executing every note the way Paco Pena does.

@armandorms Because this is a Flamenco guitar not a Classical guitar. Flamenco guitars are constructed differently, they're much lighter and the tuning pegs are made of Ebony, like a violin, to give maximum sound and tone quality. Also, Flamenco guitars usually have necks made of Cypress rather than mahogany which adds a brighter sound more suited to the percussive way Flamenco is played. Hope that helps.

Nice Tesla reference. Most people don't even know Tesla technically invented the radio. Even after a Supreme Court case, people still say Marconi. If you want to hear a mistake, listen to his album Flamenco and the piece Alegrias and go to 3:29. That is the only mistake I have ever heard Pena make. lol

@marcostevens74906 жыл бұрын
Ottmar liebert is not the best flamenco guitar player,he is playing the "nuevo flamenco",which is essencialy Rumba Gitana rythm.Paco Peña is a "Flamenco Puro"guitar player,and he is technecally more advanced.
@Annihilation_0f_The_Wicked90666 жыл бұрын
He's not a flamenco player. His is more new-age mixed with some flamenco elements. Check out Rafael Cortes if you want to hear one of the best contemporary flamenco players.
