Sobrang rock si Raymund in later years ng Eheads. It's a good thing Ely still wrote a non-rock song like "Huwag kang Matakot" which became a hit. It's Ely's charisma and his songs ang nasasakyan ng karamihan. That's his gift.

Kung hindi nagkaroon ng eraserheads, walang ely buendia. Actually to be very honest, eheads songs lang naman ang hinahanap ng tao na mapakinggan kay ely. 80% na tao na umaattend ng concert ni ely ay yun ang gusto pero yung 20% yun yung die hard ely fans na tinatangkilik lahat ng banda at musika ni ely after eheads. Subukan mong manood ng concert ni ely at wala siyang tutugtugin na eheads songs at ang tugtugin nya ay musika ng mongols,pupil,the oktaves at apartel tingnan ko lang kung matuwa ang 80% na manonood.

Aside from a gifted writer, ngayon ko lang narealize na ang guitar playing style ni Ely ay parang na influence ni Robert Smith ng The Cure. Still, one of the most distinct voices of OPM. His voice and songs are indelibly etched within the Philippine musical landscape.

I'm 80's Kid and I grew up idolizing this band really. Just having some time today due holiday is approaching and I want to "feel" the spirit of Christmas. My goto "songs" in this kinds of season are all Eheads Christmas album "Fruitcake. Remininscingthe past a bit on what happen to my favorite band of all time. Now 36:10, Does Ely wanted to explore the genre way back then like the Punk, PopRock, Grunge, RapMetal maybe.. Or EMO.. lols.. cmon Ely!
