See a reveiw by Cyclops, he didn't say what the issues were or why...just said mates had them and had to repair...i just brought 2 strike eagles, one for mini prs on a Lithgow LA101. 22 and and other on my lithgow LA102 223 because I could...best scopes I have ever owned...not that I Eva had expensive scopes before...great review...cheers from western australia...down under

Cyclops's complaint seems to be that there are so many other scopes at similar or less money that out perform vector. As well as some crappy glass on some models.

@@kalgoorliebushwrecks470 hi cobba, to tell ya the truth, I havnt put more than 20 rounds through it...been away working and other life stuff...but keen to get out...its seems easier to buy ammo than use it atm....but still rate the vortex scope...the LA101 gets used regularly

Just watched your channel update talking about this scope, that’s too bad to hear! I only know of one other shooter with this scope in person, but both ours function great. May I ask what the issues were that you saw on your samples? Cheers

I have nwatched many tests and reviews and there seesm to be some problems with this new scope when you use it in a real life shooting scenario. I know the warranty is excellent, but I don't want to spend that kind of money on a scope if I have to send it for repairs. Have you experienced any issues with yours? Thanks, Pat

I can only speak from my experience, but I've had great performance out of this scope. Everything works as it should and I've used it a lot since purchasing..

I haven't had any luck with vortex. I bought a 6 to 24t viper PST many years ago when they first came out and had nothing but troubles with it and sent it back twice. Had another vortex scope I don't remember if it was a viper can't remember the name but it would not track at all it was junk

I need this scope, a lot of features for the price. I was looking for rings yesterday, why is 34 mm rings that expensive!?!
@Womfat4 жыл бұрын
I guess manufacturers think 34mm tubes are on more “premium” scope and offer rings to match

Seekins are on sale at midway for $114 as of now, thats for the 34mm high rings. I got a set for the strike eagle they are nice. But also check out the 34mm wheeler's their i think $60 and are nice to

I am getting one in the post today. How many mills in one inch? I'm trying to get this fact Settled in my mind.
@Womfat4 жыл бұрын
Nice! I think you'll like the scope. A Mil or moa does not measure distance, but rather an angle. As such, what 1 Mil/moa translates to will vary by the distance between you and the target. At 100 yards, 1 Mil is about 3.6inches. There are some informative videos explaining how to use Mil/moa I would suggest you view to better understand it.

What would 1mil be at 50 yards this part confuses me thank you
@Womfat4 жыл бұрын
Mrad is a measure of angle, not distance. As such, what 1Mil translates to will change in a linear fashion depending on the distance between you and the target. 1Mil is about 1.8" as 50 yards. There are good videos explaining how to better understand this, I would suggest looking at those
@kriszml4 жыл бұрын
@@Womfat 1 mil would be 5mm at 50 meters or 10 mm at 100 meters or 10 cm at 1000 meter. Easy to deal with mils and the metric system.

Dude STOP apologising . I find it so ridiculous. Why do KZbinrs do that so often over nothing al all. Your table is wobly, so what? The sound maybe a bit off, so what, kids palying, so what? A dog barking, cars passing by, people screaming at the background, a plane coming over. Caughing, sneezing, .... F.CK those people who get "offended" by that. Sent them back to their room and let them make their own KZbin stuff.
