Really helpful!! I have some of your patterns and I was wondering about seam allowance, how much to cut around the outside. It was good to see your process can’t wait to try making them❤

I made a couple of these “funny looking shapes” today. made me chuckle. And me not paying attention and I sewed straight thru my finger! 😢 was it worth it??? Totally! Cuz imma have awesome pads to use for next time. Thank for you the great patterns! ❤

How many times do you have to pre-wash to shrink quilter’s cotton cotton flannel or the Muslim before you cut your pattern so they’re they’re all pre-shrunk and do you also have to do that with the Zb 3-D dimple because I have three different weights of the Zoerb 3-D dimplebut I mostly use the filters cotton for the topper and the cotton flannel for the back or for a compression layer in between the absorb

Question? Why do you cut that particular shape on your pad? Store bought pads are oblong shape.

What do you mean by oblong? Longer on one end than the other? When sewing my own pads I like to experiment with a variety of different shapes. Sometimes the shapes are just for fun and my own amusement. Other times the shapes are actually functional and are for a specific purpose.
