In the example of an individual biased towards an exhaled concentric pelvic diaphragm where the set up would be to raise the box to an er bias phase of the squat, what would the direction be when ascending? With the narrow individual the focus was on a concentric orientation on ascending, are we more focused on the descent and eccentric orientation in this other case or is there a coaching cue for the ascent as well? Thanks!

ascent will always be upward movement of the outlet. In the beginning of the descent, you have eccentric yielding capabilities that are trainable.

Are these points correct from this video ? .... So with a client with an inhalation axial skeleton archetype ( ribs ER / narrow ISA ) as a therapist/ trainer I want to use and exhalation strategy with my client because they are biased towards an eccentric (yielded) pelvic diaphragm ... so I would use the box squat at 90 degrees and coach and explode off the box with strong exhalation (exhalation/concentric strategy ) ... For an exhalation axial skeleton archetype (ribs IR / wide ISA) I would promote an inhalation strategy with my client by use a deeper box squat to promote more yielding and descended pelvic diaphragm ( inhalation strategy - more ER , flexion )

Bill Hartman thanks Bill ! Please keep expounding on the 2 archetypes ...different inhalation/ exhalation strategy examples are very helpful .. really great stuff !!

Wide ISA limited hip flexion even below 90 have eccentrically orientation of pelvic diaphragm ?
@BillHartmanPT3 жыл бұрын
No sir. By archetype and based on movement restriction, it would not be eccentric.

@@BillHartmanPT sir I have watched your 3 impingement of hip. In that video you said if someone have posterior lower hip compression he would have limited hip IR at 90 flexion because we ran out of IR early and have eccentrically orientation pelvic diaphragm So this case is only for narrow ?? If a wide have same finding of limited hip flexion and limited hip IR at 90 flexion his pelvic diaphragm would concentric?

@@BillHartmanPT thank you sir for quick reply This explains incontinence in narrow as they have eccentrically pelvic diaphragm How can a wide isa get incontinence?
@BillHartmanPT3 жыл бұрын
@@prashantsoni820 You can still have urethral control issues as there are muscles that control the urine flow directly that may change orientation.
