That was brilliant!!! Such stunning scenery - makes me miss Scotland even the more... maybe not so much the rain 😳 One place I really wanted to paddle was the River Forth through Stirling. We might just have to come back some time 😊🏄♀🏄🏻♂✨

hello guys for the beginning i want to congratulate you for the beautiful adventure my request is if you can help me with the map of where i have to go and where i have to go on all the rivers and lakes you have gone through thank you

Thanks for your comment. Route is Tarbet to Inversnaid portage to Loch Arklet. Loch Arklet then portage to Loch Katrine. Loch Katrine to Pier where it meets A821 then portage to Loch Achray. Loch Achray to Blackwater and onto Loch Venachar. Loch Venachar onto Eas Gobhain cation required here as it’s a dam and sluice. It was ok for us to paddle on that particular day, weir downstream. Also near the fish farm a waterfall has to be portaged which is part of a longer rapid, high water would cause problems for getting out. Advise checking out the whole section from the bridge. Finally run the river Teith all the way to the Forth and take out in Stirling. At riverside pontoon on shore road, warning the outgoing tide here can run fast so could be tricky sometimes. Good overnight parking on the street. The Teith has a very serious weir at Deanston that needs to be portaged on the left. I presume you have good white water skills and appropriate safety equipment? I’d advise studying the route on OS maps and the canoeing guide book has some info but as always read and run. It’s definitely a very adventurous route and requires good decision making as at times you will be quite far from help. Trees could also be an issue. Take care and stay safe. I am not in the habit of giving away an exact route and itinerary as I feel people need to apply their own planning skills so I hope this is of some use to you.

Thanks, the band is Beluga Lagoon, absolutely brilliant wee Scottish band. I asked permission of Andy to use his music and he’s happy. Here’s a link to that song on Spotify. open.spotify.com/track/3HJqWMOhCEMEAN7bnq2ZvV?si=OYhSzNrcQ4mJh5C_R9kwBQ
