Paddling Deer Creek | Can we make it to Fawn? | Shady Shore July 2024

Our Shady Shore Vacation puts us on Moose Lake for an entire week. That doesn't mean we have good enough weather for an entire week of paddling, but we tried to get out when we could. Our first trip is always over to Deer Creek to see if we can find the way over to Bay Lake.
With all the abundance of rain this year, we wanted to try to make it finally to Fawn Lake. Sometimes it's just a struggle to get across Moose Lake - with winds or all the extra boat traffic.
