class act sure, unless you are an immigrant to these hollowed shores. Talk about the isolation of Liverpool with one hand and mug off people simply moving to a country with the other. Not even the illegal lot just those who had to jump through the expensive and difficult hoops the tories made to get into this sinking ship. Half of Liverpool is Irish anyway. Sometimes I wish my parents had never been pushed to move, legally mind but what kind of attitude is that towards us lot?

Here, here! I concur. Thank you. I know it came from a place of pain after losing your mate (and my most sincere condolences to you) but it's so important for a person with depression (like myself) to hear someone say that. It resonates and it will do some good. Even if it helps just one person...and it will...it was worth saying so again...thank you!

Paddy lad. After your fight just gone this weekend i want to say a few things.. 1. I’m sorry for your 2 losses this week 2. Congrats on yet another big win. 3. & most importantly thank you for being so down to earth mate and putting a spot light onto mens mental health .. You didn’t have to do that this weekend you could of kept it quiet and bottled it up, I’ve suffered with mental health problems for years & it got to a point where I’d tried to take my life a bunch of times no one ever knew because i always got too scared & didn’t want to do that to my family .. Then a few years ago it got to the point i couldn’t bottle it all anymore i went out met a girl went for drinks & left my house that day with the intension of meeting this girl getting drunk having a laugh but by the end of the day out with this new random stranger I’d just met my plan when she had left was to go to a car park & chuck myself off the top of it and end all the fucking shit in my head & no one knew that day i was perfectly fine to everyone they wouldn’t of known a thing was wrong .. But thankfully i had such a good time with this girl she got me fucking hammered & I embarrassed myself to the point of passing out in a pub Lmfao. Now that would be embarrassing but it genuinely saved my life that day.. I don’t remember passing out but I got carried out in an ambulance i was that bad & I woke up in the hospital screaming thinking I’d chucked myself off the car park & somehow survived my sister was there & i told the nurse i wanted to die & started crying my fucking heart out that i was still alive … I’ve had therapy It helped in a sense but the therapy you’re offered isn’t enough mate it’s literally a numbered amount & then they have to let you go & try figure shit out even if you’re still a mess .. & I’ll admit like it helped in a sense of making me realise it’s ok to talk but I’m still far from “fixed” I’m antisocial AF i over think to a point that it would drive someone mental and I’m 32 now i feel like my life’s a mess I’ve nothing but my family & if i didn’t have them i wouldn’t be here .. Idk what your plans are with mens mental health but i genuinely thank you for saying wtf you said you’re bang on when you say it’s not supported properly not just in this country but world wide .. I would love to help with any work you have planned or be a voice for men in the UK I’m content atm with myself but far from happy but I’m ok with living rn … I know what it’s like to feel like you’re failure and you’re alone & you’ve no where to turn. & id love to help in anyway possible if possible.. either way way genuinely respect the fuck out of you & again i’m sorry for your losses mate keep your head up ❤️

good man, you're loved. You gotta live through your 50's, you won't have to give a single fuck and if you can find something that you feel good doing and you just do that, well you have a lot less young man bullshit, you calm down, your old friends are older and you've seen good folk unwind and die and you can see that you don't have to. Have kids if you're able, or just act as a volunteer parent to some kid who can use a hand, and they'll have kids, your grandbabies, even if they're chosen family, and life will be good, you won't care about a single thing that you want to slit your own throat over now, won't even be able to remember old upsets. just hold out through your forties. Think if you help out a suicidally depressed teenager now, how you know his twenties are so full of potential, same thing for you except a body just keeps getting calmer, wiser, easier. best.
