I really like that Marbles! I had not heard of a copperhead design before; I like it. Hope you had a nice Christmas & have a great 2025, Paddy!

Good video, I have three Copper head pattern. I like the half stops and having the option of one or two blades is nice. Thanks for the video.

That Henckels is just beautiful!! I dont have a copperhead in my collection, and I need to remedy that! I have a small copperlock that I enjoy though. Thanks for sharing and a late Merry Christmas to you from Pennsylvania!

Congrats on the new knives and also the new diamond stone. Indeed, the copperhead pattern is a good overall design. The German copperhead is special. However, you cant go wrong with the Marbles model either.

I've got that same diamond stone and it's excellent! Also I'm a big fan of the copperhead pattern :)

I like the copperhead pattern, though I only own one right now. Mine's a Case, with a clip and pen. This coming year I'd like to get a RR to try out. Cheers, buddy!

Hello Sir. I just discovered your channel. I watched a few of your videos and I enjoy your commentary. One of the videos I watched is on the Cattaraugus review. I have my Grandfathers 100 year old Cattaraugus pen knife. I’m amazed at the quality of that old knife. I have some other old knives as well and enjoy hunting for good quality and good value pieces. Now that I just retired, I’m going to try my hand at refinishing old knives. All the best! Jim from Georgia (USA)

As the twins were one of the oldest Knife Maker in Europe, it was on the one hand, sad to see them stop making pocket knives, but on the other hand, if you are going to farm out your production, where better to go than Böker? They are still made in.Solingen Germany and to an extremely high standard. I particularly like the hollow grind on the Skinner blade. According to the box that mine came in, they are made of 420 HC. Perhaps a little looked down on these days, but I have been carrying knives made of it for probably the better part of 50 years, without complaint. The other two were nice, but Zwilling is definitely the star of this show!

Genuinely enjoy the Copperhead pattern. I have a Kissing Crane Copperhead with black synthetic scales and carbon blades made in Germany-such a nice knife. I think I bought it near 20 years ago. A fine day to you Stephen.

One of my favorite slipjoint knives. Love my copperheads. Fun fact....the copperhead snake smells like cucumbers. If you're in the woods in Ohio and you smell cucumbers...there's a copperhead about. 😁👍

Don't canoes also have a blade on each end, instead of both on one end?

If the knife is marked Solingen the knife is still German. Boker ‘Traditional’ series ($40-60) are Chinese and only finished in Germany to get the stamp. It changed in the past few years. Basically how they can be cheaper. I’m not knocking where it’s made…simply to remind people not to discount the Rough Ryders/Marbles/etc. Paying the extra is (kinda) getting you the same knife…and RR is pretty good for $20ish.
@asn1012 күн бұрын
I only made the comment because RR makes some quite nice copperheads. I have a Wasp pattern which comes with VG10 blades. For $16…it’s China but if someone doesn’t know if they like it that’s a great price point to try.
