Padlet is going to give me 60 points on an assignment, because doing a padlet board is on my syllabus and it’s worth 60 points. I had never heard of padlet but for these 60 points it’s a must that I learn it and you did a great job explaining. I think 🤔 I can do it now.

Thank you so much for explaining this! My professor asked for my assignment to be done in padlet form and I didn’t know what the heck he was talking about! Now I know. Thanks. I just need to figure out how to save this on my computer and email it to him.

You’re welcome, you can just use the shareable link that can be found in the menus on the right. Email that to your professor.

@@TubeTechie , I just watched your video & have follow ups: What are those connecting arrows for? I understand you wanna link those posts, but how are they gonna look and work in actual like when a visitor from somewhere happens to see one of those posts in the web? Lastly, will this also help or work on small businesses like on their mktg side or just a sort of intro to their business for people to see or know and it becomes sort of landing page? Glad if you can provide more details or make another video on this. Nice video by the way and I'm really thankful to you for sharing this platform 🙏😍👍
@TubeTechie
@TubeTechie 4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! @@imllendream It will look the same with the arrows for visitors as for you, the arrows are used for whatever you like, but people use them to connect ideas or create a flow chart of information. This could work for anything youd like to use it for you just have to be creative. I will say if you are looking for a landing page there are much better options for you, check out my video on this easy webpage builder : kzbin.info/www/bejne/jmLHdX9vj7aSZ7s

Thank you!!! Do you use Google classroom or the remind app? Also, you could create a Bitly of the padlet share link. Let me know if that helps or if you have more questions.

Very helpful tutorial! I'm using a canvas padlet, like an investigation board. Is there a way to zoom out at all??
@TubeTechie
@TubeTechie 5 жыл бұрын
Thank you!!! The only way I know of is to use the browser zoom. Change it to a lower percent and it will bring all the posts into view. Hope that helps!!!
@SacTwnNate
@SacTwnNate 5 жыл бұрын
I disovered that while tinkering around... And I emailed Padlet to suggest that they add a zoom in and zoom out feature. It's such a great format, but you need to be able to zoom out and see all the space they actually give you to work with!
@TubeTechie
@TubeTechie 5 жыл бұрын
I completely agree with you! Hopefully they add that into it the app!

That was good, I really like this right now, I can see myself creating one for me, and sharing with my students, I'm not experienced enough to teach them, but would like to figure out how to get them to collaborate utilizing this program. I really like the sharable factor on other Facebook platforms, I think this will be attractive to my students.

I am an adult ed teacher. During COVID-19 our students are using a program on line. However, I was looking for a way to relieve the monotony of having just one method of learning. I plan to post alternative sites they can go to for relative videos, games, or activities. I think this will do the trick. Thank you.

@@TubeTechie I figured out a way! If you choose the "canvas" format option, you can drag the edge of the box to resize the post. I was initially using the "wall" format, which doesn't let you do this.

Hi, great video; easy to follow. I am a high school teacher. Can I or should I create a padlet for each of my classes? I have classes of juniors and classes of freshman, and I'd like to be able to make a separate padlet for each. Thank you for helping the Quaranteachers out here!
@TubeTechie
@TubeTechie 4 жыл бұрын
When you sign up you’ll get either 3-4 padlets so you couldn’t make one for each class, unless you only have 4-5 classes, you’d have to delete one class Padlet and make a new one or upgrade. If you tried to make a new account you’d need multiple emails. Use the link the description you should get an extra padlet hopefully that will help!!!

Quick Question - I tried posting Google Slides to Padlet and the first page of the Google Slide does not show. It shows a google page. I had to turn the google slides into a PDF to show the first page of their google slides, but they don't show up animated that way. Any ideas?
@TubeTechie
@TubeTechie 4 жыл бұрын
Interesting, because it’s a link it’s going to be generated from the websites info they have added so the google page will always show if you use a link, check around and see if there’s thumbnail settings when adding a link!
