Anakin is macbeth. They both received a prophecy, Macbeth would become a king, and Anakin would lose Padme. They both did everything to either ensure or prevent the prophecy, and in the end they sacrificed everything they stood for. They were both manipulated to do horrible things by Lady Macbeth and Palpatine. In the end they lost everything, as macbeth lost the throne and died, and anakin lost his beloved wife and became trapped in a horrible mechanical suit for the rest of his life

Even though everyone made fun of Vader, I still find that scene perfect as is. What else could he have done? Just screamed? That "No" perfectly summed up his complete and total failure. Here's how the scene with Vader in the medical bay could have been better: After hearing the bitter truth, Vader just doesn't say anything. You just hear a low gutteral growl... Then the building begins to shake. Machines start to turn in on themselves. Some spontaneously combust or explode. Everything that's not bolted down starts flying around the room, and then even the things that are bolted down start to fly around. Vader tears himself free from the restraints. The growl then turns into a moan, which grows louder and louder until it gives way to an inhuman scream of rage and carnal anguish. This is the birth cry of the most iconic villain in moviedom; it radiates nothing but darkness and pain. Upon reaching its zenith, the walls of the room explode outwards and Vader staggers outside into the stormy night, horrified, enraged, and in pain at the same time. He's the trifecta of everything that Yoda said leads to the Dark Side. Sidious calmly steps out after his apprentice, almost eerily gliding across the walkway. Vader gives one last primal scream of rage, and the entire facility immediately starts crumbling down as Sidious looks on, smiling at the horror he's just created.

This was not just Padme's funarel it was Anakin's as well, as symbolized with her being laid to rest with the necklace that Anakin made for her it meatphorically represents a large piece of Anakin the goodness and puriety in him and that piece died alongside his wife and in his mind their unborn child(ren) so in a very sad, but moving way Anakin was laid to rest alongside his family.
