Padparadscha is a delicate, light to medium toned, pink-orange to orange-pink hued corundum, originally found in Sri Lanka,[12] but also found in deposits in Vietnam and parts of East Africa. Padparadscha sapphires are rare; the rarest of all is the totally natural variety, with no sign of artificial treatment.
The name is derived from the Sanskrit padma ranga (padma = lotus; ranga = color), a color akin to the lotus flower (Nelumbo nucifera).
Among the fancy (non-blue) sapphires, natural padparadscha fetch the highest prices. Since 2001, more sapphires of this color have appeared on the market as a result of artificial lattice diffusion of beryllium.

Getting GIA on padparadscha is not an easy task, i'm currently going through a tedious rechecking process with them on for few of my Pad's. Your video is very informative,, but make sure to mention every time you talk about Padparadscha 99% of Padparadscha not qualified for GIA, Gubelin certification. Thats why Padparadscha is extremely rare, pretty much everyone misidentify Padparadscha except GIA and Gubelin and only handful of people know what to look for in order to identify Padparadscha accurately. I own my fair share of Pad's and had my hands on thousands Padparadscha but still its a challenging task to identify real Padparadscha. The best stone in the world to have and it will make you smile and really really really happy when you see it everyday.
