This story teaches us so many lessons. On the death of a loved one, a person can be filled with so much regret. We wish we could have done so much more to help the deceased while alive. Our grief becomes unbearable. But the greatest thing we can do for anyone is to pray for them. When the soul of a loved one goes to purgatory, they are just waiting to get into heaven. If we pray for them and hasten that journey then we are doing more for them than we could ever have done for them while on earth. Thanks to God's mercy and kindness our prayers are very powerful. There is never any need for despair. God opens the way for us to help and make up for any past regrets. I speak from experience. My mother died three years ago and i didn't help her as much as i should, due to many circumstances. But after a period of much heartbreak i have learned a lot about how to help her. Thank you God. For years I heard of her interceding on behalf of her friends for the small miracles they asked of her. She still is such a devout and a powerful loving spirit. Now, in my old age, I still feel her loving protective spirit. As a child, she would see the virgin, even before I taught her to pray. A soul in Purgatory helped me. I was going to do a terrible thing. At the location, a man holding a Bible said something to me. He looked very sad. Then, he said he was in prison, because although he loved Jesus very much, he thought he could find salvation in the Bible. He asked me not to do the thing, and that he was trying to help me. He pleaded with me not to do it. It was later that I understood that he was in Purgatory, and God was allowing him to help me. I am grateful to him very much and look forward to seeing him again.

I love Padre Pio. He answered one of my prayers the very next day. I prayed to St. Padre Pio to find a house for my daughter as I knew bad things were happening where she was and she had a young son. The very next day I had a call that her flat was burnt down and she the was given a house far away from where she was where bad things were happening. A miracle.

I went to the cemetery to pray and asked the souls there to guide me to any part where someone did black magic or some occult practice inside the cemetery, so as to clean it up. I also asked them for plastic bags to put anything I find inside. I found both things. Souls in Purgatory seem to be really nice and we should consider them friends. When we visit them we visit the imprisoned and the hungry or thirsty, the ones who need the clothing of our prayers, just like our Lord asked us to do.

As Catholics, we believe that our prayers for the holy souls in purgatory are being heard in God's Kingdom.. and usually we offer such much needed prayers by our dear departed family members and friends, and for those who have no one to pray for them... It's just sad to note that other Christians (even other Catholics) believe that their loved ones immediately go to heaven upon their death.. so they neglect praying for them ..we could see others greetings at Facebook..' happy birthday in heaven '.🎈😅. they forgot that God's Kingdom is beyond space and time.. so birthdays are not celebrated there anymore.. those happy Holy Souls in heaven are focused on glorifying God already ..no candles on cakes to blow anymore..😊🙃 ... I had an uncle that passed away back in 1993, he was set up by his girlfriend and a couple guys he knew were all at a bar n my uncle never was the type to fight or start trouble. He was an all around good person n had many friends, anyway one of the guys tried to tell him that he owed him money but my uncle never borrowed money for anything. The guy ends up hitting my uncle n stabbed him in the stomach n one of his lungs, what made it worse is that the knife was dirty and caused alot of infection around his lung n made it hard for him to breathe n caused fluid build up n he passed away on the operation table. Fast forward to about 2004 I think it was n my dad worked at the housing department for the tribe the creek nation tribe of Oklahoma. Well my dad was going to lunch with one of his coworkers n he happened to see a friend that he hasn't seen since late 70s n they shake hands n had a fast visit n my dad's friend had told him during there conversation that he seen my uncle a week before and he told my dad I didn't know he got stabbed n that my uncle told him all about it n even showed his scars. After my dad's friend explained all that that's when my dad told him yea he sure did get stabbed n that it was probably him but not him caused he then said he lived for 4 days n passed away on the operation table n my dad's friend didn't know what to think. So to me if people you know you see them somewhere n don't know they're gone they can appear to you like they are still alive in this physical n when my dad told us about that after getting home I was a true believer. This true story made me think of my uncle n how he appeared to there friend.

Lately, I have been praying for the Holy Souls with The Prayer of St. Gertrude the Great followed by "The Eternal Rest Grant unto them .." prayer three times, and I am doing The 5 Apostle's Creed, 1 Hail Holy Queen, 1 Our Father,1 Hail Mary and one Glory Be for the Holy Souls. Now, I'm gonna have masses said for The Holy Souls in Purgatory, besides the ones I have for individuals. Also! A Gregorian mass is best!! That is 30 continuous daily masses said for one individual. I do the St. Gertrude's prayer too! Dude, I am telling you, seriously, say that prayer during the elevation of the chalice at Mass. That prayer is offering the precious blood, and you would literally be saying that prayer during the offering of the PB. I do this every single time at Mass, and on a number of occasions during special feasts (three times during the octave of All Saints, as well as during Christmas), I was given a grace to know that it was working. I would get these incredible full body tingles instantly washing over me. And do pray to the holy souls for their help, too. I was absolutely beside myself in utter devastation at something this past week, and the incredible tingles washed through me again, which was so consoling.

Tonight I want to meditate on Jesus’ agony in the garden, the betrayal and indifference of those who had only a few days earlier praised and welcomed Him must have wounded His perfect Love. How often have I abandoned those souls in purgatory, adding to their loneliness? How often have I become indifferent to holy souls I have known and loved in this life, and forgotten to pray for them? This is just the reminder I needed as we enter Holy Week. Thank you very much for the work of your apostolate. May God reward you.

After my father's passing I arranged 30 masses in his memory, despite having no prior knowledge of this Catholic tradition. His death served as a calling from the Lord, leading me to embrace my Catholic faith. Although I had the 30 masses done at a Novus Ordo, which I have since learned may not be considered valid by some. I hope that my decision was the right one and pray that my father's soul may be released from purgatory. God bless to all

Please pray for my mother's soul to reach paradise. She passed away on November 18 , 2017. I have been praying for her soul and have offered masses for . Everyday while in mass I pray for her soul to reach heaven. She had a silent attack and passed away. So haven't reced the sacraments before death. Recently in my dreams I saw her sad. Please help me to know that she's in heaven. She was a really good soul loved by everyone.. St. Padro PIO please intercede for me and my mother.. please give me or show me my mummy is in heaven
