Padres Manny Machado pays tribute to Peter Seidler & how he changed baseball in San Diego forever.

Manny really showed another side of himself, here. I wasnt suprised...but I was struck by how personal his affection for Mr Seidler, was. And it was all sincere. Too many times, we see people do a tribute to someone of note, and your eyes glaze over because you know they'd rather be 12 other places. That was NOT the case, in this eulogy, if you will, of the man who secured Manny's and Joe's lives, to the degree, that they nor their kids, will ever have to work another day in their lives, if they so choose. Anyone who has changed someone's life like that, deserves a respect that is not reserved for just anybody. Joe's speech was extremely touching and emotional, too. These guys are the leaders of this team...I think they showed us why, today.
