though i've always known about baseball and watched it from time to time, my first ever MLB game live was a Padres game last summer - a Friday night rout of the Twins. and i've been hooked ever since. there's at least one Padres fan here in Vienna, Austria.

Team off to slow start of season as the obvious certain few hitters trying or implementing the Tony Gwynn Sr hitting swing. Tatis Jr the obvious change of him looking like Gwynn of his new swings. Machado too also trying out but yet to master as well as others. Padres will start playing elite baseball at the end of season for October. Its just right time of beginning season to start implementing the skills needed for WS quest.

@@turtle19dad I guess through youtube algorithm or something I saw this video. SD unfortunately was my pick to win the NL West this year at least. So yeah, they may off to a slow start, but with all that talent they accumulated this offseason, they'll definitely turn it around. I would say maybe pick up another solid starter at the deadline to get to the WS title. I won't like it, but knowing how aggressive Preller is, I can see it happening.
