I just got a useed 2016 f150 it pulled to the left a little then i noticed the brack on driver side was not touching the roter right and it all looked bran new when I jaked it up that side the wheel did not want to spen look at the brakes and pads and they had 2 pads with the raised side on that side had to take both sides apart to make it right thanks

Why not just mark/engrave "outside" "Inside" on the pads when they are made?

Weird...I've got a 2013 F150 and my brake pads that were on it and the replacement ones didn't have those humps on the back. They were 100% identical.

2011 F150 and the pads were exactly the same also

Dude explain where us inboard and outboard

inboard = facing the inside of the vehicle / where the caliper pistons (in this example) contact the pad outboard = facing the outside (road-side)
