Give me quite a bit of piece of mind. With the satellite communication. Either when i'm out by myself or with friends, family . I use the Ram mount system. It's cumbersome on a pedal bike but works really well on my quad or on the dash my pick up. Takes quite a bit of abuse from the trees trying to nab it.

@@nostuckmarc8682 I find the cradle for my old GPS was a better system than the spine mount this one uses. I’ve accidentally bumped it off the mount a few times, but thankfully I have a lanyard attached to it and I wrap that around the Ram arm and it keeps it from hitting the ground.

The 67i is a minty unit and the latest maps with old map info is suuuuper cool. I have the Garmin 64s, 700 rino, 750 rino. One gps I really love as an alternate is Gaia GPS Premium for your cell phone, but purely for a bigger screen. Dont need to have a cell signal. Dont even need a sim card in your phone. The picture fills your phone screen. Question; can your Garmin GPSMap 67i, bluetooth, mirror screen to a larger tablet? I been trying to figure out how to bluetooth my Rino to a tablet.

Not sure about the mirroring as I never tried anything like that. Not sure where I'd put a tablet on my bike with all of the stuff I already have lol

Have you used GPS on your smart phone? All Have em and a pro app is a reasonable price.

I've played around it with a bit. I find that the dedicated GPS is more accurate and I can do more with it regarding the waypoints and tracks.
