Interesting. Can you comment on a baby born without kidneys ... if they are able to breath on their own etc and only need kidney treatment .... what weight etc can dialisis be started as we had a baby in 1995 who lived 6 weeks as he could breath etc and I wondered if such a baby would survive these days. He was born at 4lb by c section at 34 weeks due to not thrieving but only had some kidney tissue. We were told he would need to reach 9lb to have dialisis. His cousin has one kidney. Could this be related. What cuases it. Is it related to previous miscarriages. Thank you for any comment. Those days you are told its just one of those things. I have a dd now and this she might of only survived as I had placenta accreta undiagnosed with her. So she was hanging in there.
