I have discussed that point many times on many defense channels that with j 31 Pakistan need j16 to cover naval because Pakistan don't have any ship carrier and India have two this is a big ag for that j16 fighter jets have a many weapon options to cover it

SU 30 length is 15 meter and RAFALE length is also 15 meter but JF 17 Length is 9.5 meter which gives thunder an edge on RAFALE

Bigger size of fighter jets mean more weapon-carrying capability and more combat range. Smaller size means less weapon-carrying capacity and less combat range. So if JF17 has a smaller size. It has some benefits as well as some disadvantages.
