I'd pick my Collings with Ron Ellis Ellisonics out of anything, but otherwise it would be the PAFs :)

@ I’ve had a Collings before but it was a jazz box. Now I really want to try Ellisonics! I’m assuming you have their Gretsch model? Super cool!

@@HeyitsmeYus Yes, the 470 JL. Ellisonics are by far my favorite single coils I've tried. I swap pickups pretty frequently on most guitars; the only other set of pickups I didn't change out are the Stormy Mondays by Bareknuckle on my Eastman Romeo which is the only other electric I actually still play frequently.

@ how’s the playability of the JL? The craftsmanship on the Collings I had was almost impeccable, so I assume your JL plays great. I’ll look into the Ellisonics pickups. Might try them on my tele to see what happens! I really like my Mule and Black Dog I have on my explorer. I’ve heard lots of great things about Eastman guitars!
