@@MaximGuitarist thank you! It’s actually quite simple. I place my key light literally above myself, and turn off all the lights except for the light stand behind the guitar rack. I usually bring down the temperature to somewhere around 3300k and 3600k. I almost always shoot 4K in 24fps with my Sony A7iv paired with either 20mm or 35mm lens from Sony.

@ Thank you for the tips. Do you use a black grid with a softbox? I use a softbox without grid, so it lights me and rest of the room (I use 80watt softbox).

@ I use a grid yes. Honeycomb. These days I prefer to light up the surroundings as little as possible!
