I know this is 2 years ago but . . . I had a problem with my 560 Diesel that it'd randomly plug up and then later itd run fine. I had to drain the tank and really move it around and peer inside. Eventually I found a silver metal foil pre cap deal from a bottle of "yamma lube" somebody dropped it into the tank and it'd swim around and occasionally plug up the downspout to the sediment bowl. Before I figured that out I got REALLY good at cracking those lines off and priming those lines.

My dad bought a 730 John Deere diesel. The fenders were an option he didn't buy options neither did grandad no fenders on his 560IHC either

. I wish I had a canopy on my 460U. Love my Fast Hitch. Hard to find implements these days but I have a couple 3-point converters that I use. Cheers! Whipple

Yea those 3pt adaptors are pretty popular. We sold a bunch at the dealership

I do have a fast hitch ih 4 bottom plow and its for sale. 700 bucks

Is there a bunch of crap in the tank plugging the hole? That's what has happened to several of our older gas tractors. Inside of the tank starts to rust and eventually it flakes off and plugs the hole. You can blow all the air ya want, it'll just stir it up and eventually resettle to the bottom.

Yea, I did a few more videos on it. I did clean it out and made a standpipe for it. I think is was dirt.

I would drain the tank and adapt a one inch hose to a shop vac and suck out the tank. That may be a quick fix for ya.
@hturbo10076 жыл бұрын
Does it flow out of the hose to the filters? Plastic could be stuck in the rubber hose, or the hose could be collapsing inside.
@skipperskipper29365 жыл бұрын
There is a screen in top of sediment bowl. Did you look at it?

The umbrella on the 560 is classic! I think it looks better with it on. Looks like it would have back in the day. I've ordered one just like it for my 300 utility.

If secondary filter does not flow fuel usually primary filter needs changed.
@robertaus84204 жыл бұрын
Throw fuel treatment in the tank you have Black Death growing in it
@garygrindey186 жыл бұрын
We used to have the same umbrella on our 460. We never minded it. We also had the factory clam shell fenders. I personally liked them. Fast hitch makes things easier at times also. We liked it when we were moving the elevator. Keep up the good videos.
@GotThatStat6 жыл бұрын
What connects those filters together? You could have some blockage between the filters causing it to starve for fuel.

Love tedding with my super c with the fast hitch for the same reason, super handy making adjustments on the fly!

the plastic is coming from the injection pump then it will plug the return line. injection pump needs rebuilt. had the same problem with mine
@dwhollrah5 жыл бұрын
Also, check your return line back to the tank. Mine plugged right at the tank and shut me down on a 660.

I put square fenders on my 560 which gave it a lot more room and I can climb on using the front. I widen out the deck and it turned out great.

Don’t use a valve with plastic round little standpipe screen on it. I just went through this on my 656 with same engine. New everything including the tank on restored rig. The screen was too fine and kept doing the same exact thing. I kept blowing air backwards and it would run a few days. Finally I drained the fuel and put a piece of brake line standpipe 11/2” tall like original. Let the 2 filters do their job. Someone might of already put one on that sediment bowl. Might be your issue. Mine wasn’t even really dirty. Fuel just wouldn’t flow enough to satisfy it. If you want more info let me know
@walterdavis48086 жыл бұрын
Seems the only time you ever have on a farm is borrowed time ! How good are the filters? I have had that problem on tractors Could be the screen on the seperator, fuel valve is full of crud and slowing thd fuel rate. If it idles well but dosnt run under load or higher rpms. I would check it
@America-First20246 жыл бұрын
“If” you possibly have any rust in the tank. You can take a mechanics telescoping magnet and swirl it around in the tank. It will take any metallic residue out of the tank.

Clinton tractor of Clinton Missouri is about 30 minutes away from me. If they have fenders I would crate them up and ship them to you if you want. They are a massive salvage yard.

Well you must not be 100 percent sold on it being something in the tank or you would have done it by now that or you really don’t like playing with fuel? If so I imagine at the dealer you guys must have had a helper do all the dirty work while the rest sucked up the gravy work haha

Great vid another job for winter your going to have to take tank off and flush it good job you have other tractors (choice of) get on with the hay
