i have heard girija devi ji...channulal mishraji.....begum akhtar ji...shobha gurtu ji.....prabha atre ji...pt. jasraj ji....and many more......but discovering this legend,kishoriji, after her death has been such a sublime experience..... it seems as if she is seeing meera dance in front of her......the emotions are so pure......when she expresses the emotion of the mother-in-law of meera,she is godly..... she is 'the most perfect artist' i have heard till date....even bharat ratna is small in front of her

Couldn't have expressed better. Its unfortunate I have never been able to listen to her in a live concert, but discovered her posthumously. And every time I listen to her, even if I have listened to other greats, she seems to bring the best and elevate it to another level altogether.
