Pagan shrines of Ancient Russia. Slavic pagan temple. Part 1
ancient Russia. The Slavic temple is a place where rites, Slavic holidays and sacraments of communion with the Gods are held. Places for temples were chosen in the centers of Slavic shrines, which are springs, streams, rivers, trees, oaks and groves.
Behind the temple there was a forest, in front of the temple there was a clearing, and nearby there was a river, a spring, or a reservoir with clear water. The clearing is necessary for the possibility of receiving guests, and so that you can arrange games on it. Temples were built from wood (in exceptional cases-from special rocks of stone) in places of power, which modern esotericists call geopathogenic zones with the release of natural energy of the Earth. These places with positive energy coming from the bowels of the earth, as if charged the people who are here, so people were drawn to this clean place with their heart and soul.
For a Slav, Nature is sacred. It manifests the Genus-God in the world visible to our eyes. Our Ancestors lived in it, and will live again, reborn through us in descendants. Therefore, it is our duty to leave the Land clean and bright for our future incarnations, as we received it from our relatives!
However, our Ancestors also had especially favorite and revered sacred places. In these special places, on special days, you could throw the Kalina bridge over the Currant and have a little chat with your Ancestors and with your Native Gods, who are the Ancestors of our Ancestors. Praise them for the fact that thanks to them we live now, and ask them to visit at least for a while.
The temple itself is a place of unity of two principles. In the round temple, which represents a woman, Mother-Cheese-Earth, Makosh, penetrates the column of Kapi-man, Father-Sky, Svarog. The unity of these worlds, the heavenly and the earthly, gives great Strength to the Slavs participating in this, who enter themselves through the holidays into the circle of Life. That is why the priest should bring the breba with kvass-rain, and the Korovai-earth - priestess. This demand, given from oneself, will ascend to the Gods through the Krada-sacred fire and will be replaced for everyone by the fulfillment of a wish made when laying hands on the demand. Nothing appears out of nowhere or disappears without a trace. Previously, such a natural drop, which United Heaven and Earth, was a sacred tree. Folk tales have preserved the legend of the sacred oak tree, the branches of which the hero travels to the world of his Ancestors.
Now the temples are sacred places of Slavic rodnovercheskih communities, where they spend Slavic holidays and rituals.
The time of pre-Christian Russia is the least studied and most controversial. This opposition is fully explained by the fact that during the period of Baptism, all data about the pagan culture of the Slavs were carefully destroyed. Then all the Chur and idols of the Slavic Gods were destroyed; the carriers of pagan beliefs were destroyed both physically and morally.
The medieval Church, as we know from history, did not show mercy to the Gentiles; this is proved by the numerous Crusades and bonfires of the Inquisition. The Christian worldview did not encourage this, but the bloodshed continued. It also did not bypass pagan Russia; a significant part of the people did not accept the new faith, as a result of which the persecution of pagans began.
Many historians believe that the "Tale of time years" is not the document that truly reflects the history of that time. In the era of the Church's formation in Russia, most Chronicles were written by its "order" and, accordingly, under its strict supervision. Therefore, scientists are looking for more reliable information about those years. An important basis for the study of that time are preserved to our time oral traditions, myths, legends and fairy tales. In recent years, there are more and more archaeological finds related to that era. The ancient city of Arkaim, where the ancestors of the Slavs once lived, has been excavated. Unique historical documents were found - "Veles's book", "Vedas of the Slavs", "Pigeon book".
