And I feel, Vemax somewhat lacked behind. Thanking Shri Keshav Pratap Singh Ji for letting us know that new Pagaria Three Band Creta is out now. It is currently in my cart and I'm thinking that I should give Pagaria a try. The only Indian Radio I ever listened was Philips and that too a decade ago. I would like to know your opinion for the same please. For sure I will have to keep my expectations at bay and not to compare it wildly with any China Made DSP Radio. But nonetheless, I hope I would receive a good working Radio from this brand if I proceed. Thank you for bringing my attention to Pagaria again with Creta. It's classical design and desi outer cover with loaded images and text always gives me a gentle nudge that We The People of India believe in workhorses that gets our work done in an efficient manner over aesthetically pleasing products. 73! 🙏

See, what I am thinking is - since they have made it 3 Band Radio from 5 Band; maybe IC is changed and let's wait until some inputs are there from people who buy it; before going for 3 Band. The 5 Band is a solid Radio indeed. Maybe 3 Band is even better, but we don't know it yet.

Pagaria is catering the Indian mass belonging to all sections, and I feel such brands should be promoted. If Pagaria can improvise by removing TV Bands from their previous offering, then I strongly hope they would improvise by stretching Shortwave Bands in their 5 Band Offering. 73!

Solar charging is success only for low consumption devices such as calculator, watches etc. Radio consumes much power due to its multistages circuit especially in amplifier section. So, the charging current rate will be comparative low than its consumption rate. However, some Chinese and European brands provided solar charged and hand crank radios for emergency uses. Hand crank is a rotary handle which rounds the built in dynamo and turns the machenical energy into electric energy. In olden days these radios were helpful for voyagers to listen air band in emergency situations. So, we can use them by rotating the crank shaft some time. They can't provide continous energy like calculator or solar watches. These radios are unnecessary costly due to additional hardwares of solar plates or a moving dynamo with the attachment of gear wheels etc. Best are the radios having inbuilt chargeable lithium batteries. They provide long time continuous energy from a single charge. New technology comes after a long innovation on olden technology. But old technologies have their own antique values. So, they become important for hobbyists to decorate in their drawing room or museum.

Dear Parvinder ji, bahut he Shaan daar Pradarshan aapke dvara accha comparison rha. but jaha tak mera manna hai ye dono radio ek tarah se sirf naam ke hai, inka sound aur tuning reception Chinees jesa he hai hai, in dono radio me wo indian wala aisa koi feel nahi aata maine dono ko use kiya hai, upar se Pagaria ko USB bluetuth se upgrade krna aur bhi badi sharmnaak se bat lagti hai. aur isme jo bluetooth card lga hai wo china me banta hai. agar indian hai to use hindi naam dena chahiye

Ji, bahut bahut dhanyawad. Aaj ke samay mein jis keemat mein inko diya ja raha hai, kuch na kuch to compromise rahta hi hai. Baaki main nahin samjhta ki in Radios ki ya inke sound itni buri stithi hai. Baaki aapke opinion ki kadar karta hoon.
