When you see all the Phish rig videos you are getting concrete explanations of sound and how only four guys can make so much of it onstage. Love these in depth explanations of their equipment, let's me know how on earth they rocked so hard the other night in San Diego! We are priveleged to still have these guys around, playing live.

I wish they would do one of these every time they changed they're rigs. Seeing them talk about their gear is so cool for some reason.

Is it weird if I wanna see the evolution of their live gear from 1989 to maybe 1994? I herd they had a big inventory early on and it obviously improved with the shows.

Love that you are using the original gear and not patches or softsounds. I miss my Fender Rhodes 73 suitcase! My first rig was a stage Rhodes and an Arp String Ensemble. Eventually I added an Arp Axxe and then a Crumar organ. Old school baby!

Dear Page - You are my favorite. Thank you for being you. That's all I have to say... But let just say one more thing, you are an amazing musician, I really appreciate this video and hope you can make an update to it for 2021, because you have been absolutely on fire with it this year. That's all I have to say. But let me just say one more thing: Thank you.

Dear Page- your band stalks me on my phone and computers to play cruel real life jokes as in Sci Fi Soldier. Did this joke go on too far? Was it cruel? Was it criminal? find out soon idiot
@BigKitchenwithFood2 күн бұрын
Awesome rig! And I respect Page's knowledge of it all, with one exception....the speakers in the Leslie do not rotate...they are stationary. They direct their sound into things that DO rotate...the upper driver (treble frequencies) go into the rotating horn, and the lower bass freq's point down into a rotating drum. Incidentally, the rotating horn is only open on one side. The other side of the horn is there for counterbalance.

Wow that is a lot of vintage instruments which brings some complexity as far and reliability and redundancy. Most would probably try to recreate using Kronos, stage 2 and electro or something. The Korg Vox Contiinental is an interesting keyboard for vintage sounds.
