Ok I got it. I placed curser at beginning of my page 2 which was lacking page number and INSERTed page no. Selected same position and it picked up on page 2 thru to the remaining pages! Truly appreciate your video!

The other videos I watched just talked too much and didn't cover the variety of page number changes that I needed. You nailed it, with the 'bla bla bla' ... +Travis Hall Does the page you want to number have to start with number one? If it doesn't you can just go on the page where you want numbering to start, for example if you want numbering to start on the third page, then go on the third page -> click on that page -> go on Insert -> Page number -> Bottom of the page(Or top of the page, depends on which you prefer) -> select design you prefer... and the numbers should start from that page but they will start with the number of that page and so on... Hope it helps...

I just discovered a solution. If you go through the procedure as you have done, then do it again on page two (2) and for some magical reason the whole document paginated properly! Mystifying.

means you accidentally clicked on "breaks" and "next page" twice, click on the paragraph icon on your homepage to make sure if you've already done it. hope this reply is not 3 years too late lmao

What I usually did to get out of the situation was always to cut the cover/title page and paste on a new page, so that I put the page numbers on the rest. Thanks for this wonderful tip.

There is nothing more frustrating and irritating than watching a video where it works for the person in the video but not for you, even though you follow their instructions to the letter, again and again. For the people looking for the "link to previous" tab, the solution is to just double tap on the page number you wanted to be number "1". Then it will go into the header and footer section, where you can see the "Link to previous" tab. :)
