Some important words got broken at the end of line and seperated in next line(eg. Depa- -rtment).how can it be prevented mam?

Latex automatically add hyphen's according to your page margin. You can change your page margin to solve this issue, however, it is not a good solution. You can use \hyphenation{} command to add hyphens according to your choice.
