I am grateful for many things, and thank God daily that I live in an age of the internet where wonderful, thought-provoking discussions by amazing men are available for me to observe! Thank you both for a wonderful discussion and may God bestow blessings upon you and your families.

You know it's funny because I read your comment and thought, "I don't see a fridge." Then it panned to Jonothan and bam! That's my fridge! What a time to be alive. 😂

Jonathan’s Berkey only serves to confirm that he is this epic storytelling Noah figure who is warning the culture about the end of the world. Love this. 🙏

King's X is still a band. I saw them live in June.

One of the best times I have seen the point about "becoming monsters to fight monsters" (~20:30, ff) is from the Hellsing manga, in which Alucard (the vampire) tells Fr. Anderson (Roman priest who has given up his central humanity to gain power enough to seemingly rival Alucard) that Anderson will never be able to kill him because "only a man can kill a monster." It is a truly deep insight, because it takes the True Man (Christ) to slay the monsters and set reality to rights.

Luke 3:14 comes to mind, but also the example of a young David and his band of fighters. At their best, they fought only for God and all praise was God's.

Then perhaps you would be the monster.

There is no end to monsters. If you think you’ve killed them, more will be discovered by the storytellers.

Come on! Montreal the greatest gothic cathedral you have ever seen? Really???? You haven't travelled much I guess!
@frandrewstephendamick15 сағат бұрын
It's pretty amazing. And I've seen a lot of Gothic cathedrals. The fact that it's beautifully painted inside is what really sets it apart. Most Gothic churches have been severely neglected in this regard.
