Thank you Danny Boyle for your vision and for all the people who helped made it happen. Feel priveledged to have been able to share this Remembrance event, and the poignancy of watching the tide come in over the beach in Folkestone with so many emotions.

Superb national event - proud to have attended TWO locations in Sunderland and Redcar, both intensely powerful , moving and inclusive events. Well done all involved and congratulations 14-18 NOW.

A wonderful and poignant way to remember the many who died in this war.

Love it Love it Love everything about it. Such an imaginative way of commemorating those who lived and in some cases die during that time.

Like the Tower of London poppies : utterly brilliant in conception, perfect in execution.

These men didn't fight to end war. They fought to maintain British global dominance

I really wanted to see this video but had to stop watching after about 15 seconds as the frames were changing far too fast, less than a second a picture. It would trigger a migraine in me. Such a shame.

@Jetjai. If you look to the 'Settings Wheel' icon (should have a little red 'HD' on it) - it is between the subtitles and 'cinema mode' buttons, click on it. There you'll find settings for 5 different things. One is 'Speed' - by default 'normal'. You can change that to one of *three* slower speeds: 0.25, 0.5 (half-speed) or 0.75 speed (plus there are 3 faster settings too). That should do it for you - hope you can watch it now. Best wishes

Beautifully poignant. Images of real people washed away by waves of time and the endless motion of an unrelenting sea....

I wondering if Danny Boyle could spare some of my hard earned cash. So I could go back to Europe.
